Ruth Wintz, M.D., FASN

Dr. Ruth Wintz is a nephrologist with  Kidney Associates whose practice reflects a longstanding commitment to excellence in kidney care and service to the Houston community. She graduated from the University of Texas and Baylor College of Medicine, then completed her internship, residency, and renal fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Dr. Wintz is recognized for both clinical and academic distinction, having received the Coleman Caplowitz Award for outstanding performance at Baylor and graduated from both college and medical school with top honors. She has been named among America’s Top Physicians by the Consumer Research Council, listed among Houston’s Top Doctors by H Texas Magazine, and serves as Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine.

As part of Houston Kidney Associates, Dr. Wintz contributes to a practice dedicated to comprehensive nephrology care, including chronic kidney disease management, dialysis, transplant-related care, and consultative nephrology.
